California Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, FIRE PUMP INSPECTION & TESTING, identified under Solicitation ID: C25925039. Work is to be performed near 17851 Pacific Coast Hwy, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, USA in Orange County.
General Project Description
The project involves providing weekly and annual fire pump and seventy-two (72) sprinkler system inspection and testing services for a three-year term at Bolsa Chica State Beach Headquarters. This includes testing and running pump motors, visual inspection of piping and sprinklers, exercising and lubricating valves, checking alarm system operation, inspecting and testing pump and gauges, and documenting all findings and test results in a mandated log book. A five-year wet inspection will also be conducted as needed. The contractor is responsible for providing, creating, and maintaining the log book. Services must comply with California Code of Regulations Title 19, Chapter 5, 904, and be performed by a C-16 Fire Protection contractor or equivalent.
