General Project Description

The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) – Patton is soliciting bids from DGS-certified Small Business Enterprises for "Lead and Lead Based Paint Materials Abatement and Removal Services" on an as-needed basis. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, prevailing wages, insurance, bonds, and personnel for hospital-wide lead and lead-based paint (LBP) and lead-containing paint (LCP) abatement and removal services. The scope primarily involves containment, abatement, stabilization, hauling, transportation, and disposal of LBP/LCP materials from various building components such as window frames, walls, ceilings, doors, eaves, fascia, support posts, and ceramic tiles, including mortar beds. Work also includes scraping and stabilizing loose/flaking LBP/LCP, pressure washing, and soil remediation. The contractor is responsible for providing project design elements, including SCAQMD notification and report preparation.
