General Project Description

The Department of State Hospitals (DSH) – Napa is soliciting bids for a contractor to furnish all transportation, tools, instrumentation, and labor to test, service, and calibrate six (6) battery chargers and their respective battery banks over a three-year duration. Services include three (3) quarterly and one (1) annual service per fiscal year, performed at DSH -N in Buildings 168 and 331. The contractor must provide written and electronic reports of services performed on each battery charger and battery system. The scope includes various inspections, voltage/current measurements, temperature checks, resistance measurements, and system load testing for VRLA batteries.

Quantity: 3 per Fiscal Year Unit: - Work Item: Servicing/calibrating 6 battery chargers and their respective batteries (quarterly services).

Quantity: As Needed Unit: HOURLY Work Item: Non-Emergency Repairs/Service (M-F 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM), Specifications: Labor for unforeseen repairs for 40 hours during FY 2025/2026, FY 2026/2027, FY 2027/2028 (and 2028 portion).
Quantity: As Needed Unit: HOURLY Work Item: Emergency Repairs/Service (M-F 4:01 PM -7:29 AM, & Sat-Sun), Specifications: Labor for unforeseen emergency repairs for 25 hours during FY 2025/2026, FY 2026/2027, FY 2027/2028 (and 2028 portion).
Quantity: As Needed Unit: LS Work Item: Parts Allowance for repairs outside the scheduled maintenance agreement, Specifications: $15,000.00 per Fiscal Year (2025/2026, 2026/2027, 2027/2028, and 2028 portion).
