California Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, AIR HANDLER REPLACEMENT SERVICES, identified under Solicitation ID: 25CDM057. Work is to be performed near 700 E Naples Ct, Chula Vista, CA 91911, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
This solicitation is for the replacement of air handler units (AHUs) at the Veterans Home in Chula Vista, CA. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of existing AHUs, installation of new direct-drive, high-efficiency AHUs (or approved substitutes), reconnection of primary and secondary drain piping (including necessary adjustments and insulation), reuse and repair/replacement of existing ducting, leak remediation to Title 24 Standards, reconnection/replacement of chilled and heated hot water piping and power wiring, damaged insulation repair/replacement, system startup, and leak testing. The work involves all necessary labor, materials, staff, transportation, licenses, and permits.
