California Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Access Control System Upgrade and Support Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 25VS0535. Work is to be performed near 10900 Telephone Rd, Ventura, CA 93004, USA in Ventura County.
General Project Description
This project requires a Contractor to provide upgrades and support services for the Access Control System (ACS) at the Veterans Home of California – Ventura. The work includes commissioning a new system by building and configuring a new server with operating system and pre-loaded application software and licenses, integrating it into the existing CalVet network, providing and setting up a new Avigilon Access Control Module, providing/installing/configuring/testing a Desktop Windows 11 workstation, providing/installing/configuring/testing a Fargo DTC4500e card printer, upgrading outdated door panel controllers, installing and configuring emergency "Panic Button" functionality, clearing existing cache memory, updating door panel profiles on parent ACS control panels, reprogramming ACS readers and control panels, importing database from Lenel to Avigilon, and configuring the ACS application for daily log file synchronization with the existing Avigilon Security Camera System. Additionally, the Contractor will provide ongoing support services for three years, including quarterly preventative maintenance, emergency and non-emergency on-call services (24x7 helpdesk), and staff training on the upgraded system.
