General Project Description

The CalVet Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive Water Management Plan, testing, and remediation services for Legionella and other opportunistic pathogens at the Veterans Home in Ventura, CA. The contractor will be responsible for developing detailed water system flow diagrams, conducting risk assessments to identify high-risk locations (e.g., showers, ice machines, pools), establishing intervention protocols, performing quarterly analytical water sampling, providing test results, and executing remediation response protocols using EPA and CalDPR registered biocides. The scope also includes assisting with decommissioning/recommissioning procedures and may involve recommendations for water treatment solutions. All work must adhere to federal, state, and CalVet policies, and applicable licenses and certifications are required.
