California High-Speed Rail Authority is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Fresno Station Early Works, identified under Solicitation ID: HSR25-12. Work is to be performed near 770 L St suite 620, Sacramento, CA 95814, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This Design-Bid-Build (DBB) project involves the construction of Fresno Station Early Works. The scope includes accessibility improvements, hazardous materials abatement/removal, and seismic retrofit of the historic Fresno Southern Pacific Railroad Depot (SPRR Depot), which consists of the Passenger Depot and Freight Depot. Additionally, the project covers utility upgrades, relocations, and connections for the historic SPRR Depot and future Fresno station structure. Significant site work involves building out plazas for the Downtown H Street and Chinatown G Street station entrances, including transit and vehicle electric charging within a resilient mobility hub, solar power generation, bicycle and scooter parking, restored tree canopy, new shade structures, improved stormwater management, and enhanced fencing and perimeter security.
