General Project Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for integrated pest and vermin control services at the CHP Mountain Pass JPOE CVEF facility. The awarded contractor will furnish all necessary supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision to provide monthly services, including the elimination of various pests (mites, silverfish, earwigs, sow bugs, centipedes, bees, millipedes, ants, spiders, cockroaches, scorpions, fleas, and other pests excluding termites) and vermin (gophers, mice, rats, ground squirrels) inside and outside the building. Services involve the use of non-chemical/biological or tier-rated treatments, removal of nests/feces, decontamination, proper disposal of small dead animals, deployment of traps/EPA registered baits, and debris removal. The contractor must also provide call-back services within twenty-four (24) hours for emergency needs.
