General Project Description

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for semi-annual parking lot steam cleaning services at the Walnut Creek Platform Scales (PS) (Northbound and Southbound locations). The scope includes providing all necessary supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, and supervision to steam clean concrete roadway/parking lot surfaces, platform scale surfaces, inspection bay floors, walls, and pit covers. Services also include scrubbing/brushing as needed, effluent waste cleanup, removal, disposal, and implementation of Best Management Practices for storm water pollution prevention, in compliance with Federal and California environmental regulations. The contract term is anticipated from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028.
