General Project Description

This project involves the repair of rollup doors at the Facility Maintenance Shop (FMS) 09 building within the Inglewood Armory site. The scope includes removing and disposing of non-functioning roll-up door motor operators, furnishing and installing new 1 HP roll-up door motors, new door opener control stations (push open/close/stop button), and new safety devices (photo eyes, wireless obstruction sensing edge devices, and constantly monitored anti-entrapment/safety systems) for both Bay #1 and Bay #2. Additionally, the work requires adjusting and tightening gear chains and locking pins, adjusting door curtains for proper operation, and performing function checks on all roll-up doors and safety systems. All work must comply with current local, state, and federal regulations.
