General Project Description
The project, Event #37330, requires preventative maintenance, emissions testing, and annual certification for a large industrial boiler at the Fresno AVCRAD Corrosion Control Hangar. The work includes quarterly maintenance per manufacturer specifications, annual descaling, water chemical balancing for a 10,000-gallon closed-loop system, and annual fire and water side gasket replacement using OEM materials (State Inspector inspected). Additionally, the contractor will perform annual emissions testing and certification in accordance with San Joaquin Valley Air District requirements, including one third-party source test within the two-year contract period, and monthly emissions monitoring. Specific repairs involve replacing six 0-60PSI 4.5" face pressure gauges/switches, two pressure safety valves (requiring annual calibration testing post-replacement), and an 8-inch Flo Fab recirculation pump with an American-made, non-proprietary replacement. All services must adhere to State of CA Air Emission policies and standards.
