General Project Description

This project involves the modification of traffic monitoring stations located on various state highways throughout San Bernardino County, California (Routes 2, 10, 15, 18, 38, 40, 58, 83, 138, 142, 173, 178, 189, 215, and 395). The scope includes general construction activities, lead compliance, time-related overhead, dispute resolution, and comprehensive traffic control measures such as construction area signs, traffic control systems, stationary impact attenuator vehicles, portable radar speed feedback signs, temporary pedestrian access routes, and portable changeable message signs. Additional work encompasses job site management, water pollution control, and various erosion control elements including temporary soil binder, drainage inlet protection, fiber rolls, concrete washout, maintenance of existing planted areas, wood mulch, and bonded fiber matrix. A key component of the project is the maintenance of existing traffic management system elements, and the establishment and modification of advanced traffic monitoring station systems. Mobilization is also included.
