General Project Description

This project involves the removal and replacement of an existing security camera system at the Caltrans Southern Region Lab (SRL) in Fontana, CA. The scope includes the removal and legal disposal of 10 analog security cameras and one Network Video Recorder (NVR), along with required repairs to holes or penetrations after removal. New work includes furnishing and installing nine (9) Hanwha NDAA-compliant Internet Protocol (IP) cameras, one (1) 32-Channel NVR, and one (1) 55-inch wall-mounted monitor for the security desk. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, software registration and licenses, cabling (including Cat 6 and fiber, conduit, raceway), and incidentals. The system will include Video Management System (VMS) software, comprehensive alerting features, and advanced analytic capabilities. The scope also includes a minimum of two hours of training for Caltrans staff on the VMS and four hours for system use and management. Contractor must verify newly installed camera locations for adequate field of view and furnish/install lifetime enterprise licenses for cameras. All work must comply with STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.

Quantity: 16 Unit: Per Hour Work Item: All equipment, tools, travel, and incidentals necessary to perform unforeseen labor, Specifications: per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Maximum allowable expenditure for all parts, materials, supplies, fees, and permits, Specifications: per Exhibit A, Item 9. Actual cost will be reimbursed based on submitted original receipts. This Amount Shall be 10 percent (10%) of the Actual Subtotal Amount (0.10 x Subtotal).
