General Project Description
The project involves providing routine and non-routine Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) repair and maintenance services for Caltrans facilities at the District 08 Office, Rosa Park Memorial Building in San Bernardino County. The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, vehicles, tools, materials, parts, permits, supplies, travel, disposal/recycling of waste, and incidentals. Services include maintaining, repairing, and restoring HVAC systems in accordance with state and local regulations, manufacturer's instructions, and environmental protection agency guidelines. The scope covers inspections, cleaning, lubrication, repairs of components such as blower motors, thermostats, coils, drains, refrigerants, safety devices, electrical wiring, contactors, capacitors, fan blades, service valves, and compressors. The contractor must have a C-20 (Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning Contractor) license and be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations.
