General Project Description

This project involves providing labor, tools, equipment, materials, travel, reporting, and incidentals to maintain existing planted areas (MEPA) in Napa County, specifically at Dry Creek Bridge and Perfume Creek Bridge. The scope includes noxious weed and invasive non-native plant eradication for erosion control areas to achieve 75% or better native vegetation cover with less than 10% invasive species groundcover by December 2027. The work involves various environmental control plans, job site management, lead compliance, MEPA work plan implementation, deficiency inspections, initial roadside clearing, ongoing MEPA services (controlling weeds, pests, mowing, trimming, disposal of vegetative material, site maintenance, dry seeding), and traffic control systems. Reporting requirements include quarterly progress estimates, chemical spray operations reports, and annual planting success reports.
