General Project Description
This project for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) involves providing stationary standby diesel generator services at 10 distinct locations within Orange County. The comprehensive scope of work includes semi-annual preventive maintenance (PM), annual PM coupled with load bank testing, general troubleshooting, servicing, repairs, and replacement of parts for the diesel generators. Additionally, the project encompasses on-demand non-routine services, specialized three-year coolant system maintenance, engine battery replacements, and fuel tank cleaning and polishing based on laboratory results. The contractor is responsible for supplying all necessary labor, tools, materials, vehicles, mileage, travel, incidentals, and equipment, adhering to STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work, and is also accountable for legal waste disposal and recycling of all generated materials.
