General Project Description

This project involves providing roof replacement services to Caltrans at 1120 N Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, permits, fees, travel, and incidentals for the removal and legal disposal of existing built-up roofing material. The primary scope includes the furnishing and installation of an induction-adhered Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roofing system, comprising TPO membrane, cover board, insulation, flashing, bonding adhesive, fasteners, roof drains, and all other necessary accessories for a complete, securely fastened, and watertight installation. The project requires the contractor to be a certified installer authorized by the manufacturer of the roofing system (GAF®). Specific material specifications for the TPO system components, insulation, and flashing materials are provided. The contract includes provisions for unforeseen labor and reimbursement for pre-approved parts, materials, supplies, fees, and permits. A final roof inspection by a manufacturer's representative is required upon completion, and a 20-year unconditional warranty from the manufacturer for the roofing system is mandated.
