General Project Description

This project involves providing quarterly and annual preventative maintenance (PM) services, along with routine and non-routine repair services, for Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems at the Caltrans District 3 Materials Testing Facility. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals. The work includes adjusting, inspecting, and cleaning equipment, testing air pressure, airflow, and air velocity in ductwork and exhaust hoods, ensuring compliance with ASHRAE standards and Cal/OSHA regulations, and performing necessary repairs.

Quantity: 8 Unit: Quarterly Work Item: All labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide Quarterly Preventative Maintenance (PM) for Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) systems per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
Quantity: 2 Unit: Annually Work Item: All labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, travel, reporting and incidentals necessary to provide Annual PM for HVAC systems per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
Quantity: 20 Unit: Per Hour Work Item: Hourly rate to include all labor, tools, equipment, travel, and any incidentals necessary to perform HVAC system routine and non-routine repairs, per Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Maximum allowable expenditure for all parts, materials, supplies, fees, permits and Certificates of Approval for repairs, per Exhibit A, Item 13. Specifications: Actual cost will be reimbursed based on submitted original receipts, amount shall be 10% of the Actual Subtotal Amount.
