General Project Description

This project involves culvert rehabilitation through a Job Order Contracting (JOC) Master Agreement system. The primary work is the installation of Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) Lining in various culverts located across State Routes 5, 8, and 15 in San Diego County and Route 8 in Imperial County. The overall scope under this JOC Master Agreement also includes general highway maintenance, safety, traffic management and detection system work, tree removal, clearing and grubbing, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, facility repairs, stormwater pollution control devices, and safety barrier projects, as tasks issued through individual Work Orders. The CIPP lining process includes cleaning, inspecting, and preparing culverts for lining, followed by the installation of the CIPP pipeliner. The work will be performed on an on-call basis through Work Orders, priced using a Fixed Unit Price List and adjustment factors. Traffic control measures, temporary water management, and lead compliance are also specified.
