California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Window Retrofit Services in Yuba County, identified under Solicitation ID: 32A0665. Work is to be performed near 981 N Beale Rd, Marysville, CA 95901, USA in Yuba County.
General Project Description
This project involves providing window retrofit services for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) at their Shop 3 Front Office Building in Marysville, CA. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, vehicles, travel, permits, window hardware, and components necessary to perform a complete retrofit of 35 existing exterior windows. The contractor will remove and legally dispose of all existing windows, window coverings, and related components, and install new Milgard Tuscany White Vinyl Block Frame Windows (or Caltrans-approved equivalent) with specific features including T24 glass package, double-strength dual-pane tempered glass, Low-E coating, Argon gas-filled, non-metal insulated frames, U-factor of 0.22 or lower, SHGC of 0.25 or higher, minimum 3mm glass thickness, and a 10-year warranty. The project also requires the installation of 10 window screens and ensuring proper caulking/sealant application, protection of windows during installation, and site clean-up.
