General Project Description
Caltrans is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide on-call professional and technical Environmental Engineering Analysis Services. The contract focuses on Air Quality and Energy Technical Support Services for Caltrans Headquarters Division of Environmental Analysis, District 43. This includes developing and revising statewide guidance, procedures, technical analyses, and modeling tools related to air quality, energy conservation, climate change, Mobile Source Air Toxics (MSAT) analysis, Health Risk Assessment (HRA), and regulatory compliance (NEPA, CEQA, Clean Air Act, local air district rules). The consultant will conduct studies, research, field investigations, perform analysis, prepare reports, and provide technical support including developing/maintaining modeling tools (CT-EMFAC, CAL-CET) and assisting with design elements to reduce environmental impacts from transportation projects.
