General Project Description

This project involves modifying fiber optic cable systems on State Highway in San Bernardino County at various locations (Route 58, 395). The scope includes general construction administration, such as lead compliance and job site management, time-related overhead, and mobilization. Significant components of the work include comprehensive traffic control systems, such as construction area signs, stationary impact attenuator vehicles, portable radar speed feedback signs, portable changeable message signs, and maintaining existing traffic management system elements during construction. Environmental compliance and erosion control measures are also required, including a stormwater pollution prevention plan, stormwater annual reports, temporary soil binder, temporary fiber roll, hydroseed, and related move-in/move-out activities for erosion control.
