General Project Description

This project involves construction work on a state highway in Ventura County, primarily focusing on structural shotcrete application, along with various structural repairs within tunnels. The scope includes installation of reinforcing steel, cleaning and painting structural steel, spot blast cleaning, power tool cleaning, injecting cracks with epoxy, and repairing spalled surface areas. Additionally, the project requires tunnel removal portions, heat straightening steel girders, and installing galvanic anodes for cathodic protection. Significant temporary traffic control measures, job site management, and environmental stewardship, including a Lead Compliance Plan, Water Pollution Control Program, and Temporary Sound Blankets for bat protection, are also required.
