California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Plumbing Repair and Replacement Services in San Joaquin and Merced County, identified under Solicitation ID: 10A2841. Work is to be performed near 1801 Motel Dr, Merced, CA 95341, USA in Merced County.
General Project Description
This project entails providing comprehensive plumbing repair and replacement services for Caltrans at the Merced and Electricians Maintenance Stations in San Joaquin and Merced Counties. The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, traffic control, permits, disposal, and travel. Specific tasks involve excavating access areas, removing obstructions, disconnecting and removing existing sewage pipes, installing new plumbing, culvert pipes, and drain inlets, repairing inefficient plumbing, marking and locating utility lines (gas, water, sewer), snaking/unclogging/hydro-jetting lines, providing written reports and photographic documentation, replacing drain traps and lines, and installing four-inch cleanouts. All removed items and debris must be legally disposed of.
