General Project Description

This project involves providing comprehensive plumbing and restroom replacement/repair services at the Caltrans Stockton Maintenance Station in San Joaquin County. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, traffic control, travel, fees, permits, licenses, and other incidentals. Key tasks include the removal and installation of plumbing fixtures and new plumbing pipes, fully enclosing a 9'x9' bathroom area, installing a new bathroom door, flooring, and partitions (phenolic black core solid plastic), painting all bathrooms, walls, and floors with epoxy primer, installing an 80-100 gallon electric water heater and shower, providing rough plumbing for new and existing fixtures (including a hand sink), connecting all new fixtures to existing drain/waste/water lines, leveling concrete floors to prevent tripping hazards (including rebar prep, drilling, epoxy, and pouring concrete), and installing a water supply line for an ice maker with proper filtration and drainage. The scope also includes an hourly rate provision for unforeseen work.

Quantity: 40 Unit: Hours Work Item: Hourly rate including all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, vehicles, equipment, travel, permits and incidentals necessary to effectuate unforeseen work per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
Quantity: LS Unit: LS Work Item: Maximum allowable expenditure for all parts, materials, supplies, fees, and permits per Exhibit A, Item 9. Specifications: Actual cost reimbursed based on submitted original receipts, not to exceed 10% of the Actual Subtotal Amount (Sum of Items 1-3).
