California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Roll-Up Door Replacement Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 02A2463. Work is to be performed near 1727 30th St, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This project involves the removal and replacement of existing commercial-grade roll-up doors, and the installation of new ones, including associated operators and safety equipment at various Caltrans Maintenance Stations across Lassen, Plumas, and Shasta Counties. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, parts, supplies, equipment, tools, licenses, permits, travel, and disposal fees. The work requires specific models of insulated rolling service doors, rolling steel service doors, and sectional rolling service doors with motors and various specifications, as well as the replacement of door slats and operators. Electrical connections, testing, documentation, and waste disposal in accordance with SB 1383 are also required.

Specifications: Model 620, 18 gauge minimum, no motors, exterior mounted, with chain openers, approximately 14 feet wide by 20 feet and four (4) inches tall, without windows, installed at Susanville MS per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
- Quantity: 4 Unit: Each Work Item: Removal and replacement of Sectional Rolling Service Doors. Specifications: Model 422's, with motors, approximately 14 feet and two (2) inches by 14 feet and one (1) inch, with windows, installed at Pulga MS per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
- Quantity: 18 Unit: Each Work Item: Removal and replacement of RHX Operators. Specifications: With safety equipment, installed at Redding MS (Special Crews) per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: Each Work Item: Removal and replacement of 25 slats for rolling service doors. Specifications: Model 625, per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
- Quantity: 40 Unit: Hours Work Item: Hourly rate for unforeseen work. Specifications: Includes all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, vehicles, equipment, travel, permits and incidentals necessary to effectuate unforeseen work per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
- Quantity: 1 Unit: LS Work Item: Maximum allowable expenditure for parts, materials, supplies, fees, and permits. Specifications: 10 percent (10%) of the Subtotal Amount (sum of lines 1-6).
