California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, On-Call Best Management Practices (BMP) Effectiveness, BMP Evaluation, BMP Development and Water Quality Monitoring Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 43A0512. General Project Description

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is for an On-Call Agreement to provide Best Management Practices (BMP) Effectiveness, BMP Evaluation, BMP Development, and Water Quality Monitoring Services for Caltrans, HQ Division of Environmental Analysis, District 43. The consultant will deliver professional and technical services on an as-needed basis to support Caltrans in complying with statewide and region-specific monitoring and compliance requirements outlined in various National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits (including Orders 2022-0033-DWQ, 2022-0089-DWQ, 2022-0057-DWQ, R6T-2016-0010, 2018-0028-DWQ, and USEPA CGP) and local stormwater regulations. The scope encompasses analyzing and reporting on existing and new BMP effectiveness, evaluating BMP feasibility, developing new or modified BMP designs, and conducting water quality monitoring through field sampling, testing, and laboratory analyses for physical, chemical, microbiological, and aquatic toxicity parameters. Services will be performed by or under the direction of California licensed engineers.
