General Project Description
Caltrans is seeking Statements of Qualifications from firms to provide on-call professional and technical Cultural Resources Environmental Support services for the Headquarters Division of Environmental Analysis, District 43. The purpose is to enhance environmental compliance processes for project delivery statewide, specifically pertaining to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), and other related statutes and regulations. The scope includes archaeological collections management, cultural resources data management, thematic research contexts development, state-owned historical resources inventory and significance evaluation, cultural resources outreach, Native American coordination, and various technical and miscellaneous support services.
