California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, On-Call Biological Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 12A2343. General Project Description

This is an On-Call contract for Biological Services for Caltrans District 12 projects primarily in Orange County, covering consultation, research, professional and technical services on an "as-needed" basis. The work supports the Department of Transportation's Division of Environmental Analysis from the Project Approval/Environmental Document phase through construction completion. Services include field sampling, analysis, report preparation, studies of endangered/threatened/rare species, wetland delineation, construction monitoring, mitigation planning and implementation, and the preparation of comprehensive environmental compliance documents (e.g., Natural Environment Studies, Biological Assessments, Mitigation Monitoring Plans, Environmental Impact Reports) in accordance with Federal (NEPA) and State (CEQA) environmental laws and regulations for various transportation infrastructure improvements.
