California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Roof Repair and Replacement Service, identified under Solicitation ID: 09A1093. Work is to be performed near Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546, USA in Mono County.
General Project Description
This project involves providing roof repair and replacement services at the Crestview Maintenance Station in Mono County, California. The scope includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, parts, supplies, equipment, tools, licenses, permits, travel, disposal fees, and incidentals necessary for the work. Specific tasks include the removal and legal disposal of existing damaged insulated roofing panels, soffit panels, cantilever W-beams, purlins, CEE channels, and other damaged structural components. New structural components, including cantilever W-beams (W10x22), Z-purlins (10x2.5Z12), and CEE channel purlins (10x3.5C14), along with new roof panels (type CFR (S300), 42” wide and 6” thick), complete metal panel assemblies incorporating trim, copings, fasciae, flashings, fasteners, closure strips, and sealants, will be installed to provide a structurally sound and weatherproof building. All steel components must be shop primed for corrosion protection. The project also accounts for unforeseen work and material expenditures.

- Quantity: 160 Unit: Hours Work Item: Hourly rate including all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, parts, vehicles, equipment, travel, permits and incidentals necessary to effectuate unforeseen work per STD 213, Exhibit A, Scope of Work.
- Quantity: 10% of Actual Subtotal Amount Unit: - Work Item: Maximum allowable expenditure for all parts, materials, supplies, fees, and permits per Exhibit A, Item 8. Actual cost will be reimbursed based on submitted original receipts.
