General Project Description
This project involves the upgrade of existing Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) push buttons with touch-free technology at various locations on State Highway in Orange County, specifically on Route 5 and Route 73. The work primarily consists of modifying existing electrical systems, including the removal, adjustment, and addition of cables, conductors, and push button assemblies to implement the new touch-free functionality. The contractor will be responsible for proper installation, orientation, and programming of the new systems, ensuring compliance with specified standard specifications and plans.
