General Project Description
The project involves providing as-needed General Property Maintenance and Repair Services to Caltrans District 4 Right of Way Property Management and Excess Lands across Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara Counties. The scope includes routine and non-routine maintenance, historic and non-historic repair and rehabilitation work, and painting services. This encompasses interior and exterior painting (including surface preparation, minor patching, sanding, staining, caulking, spackling, papering, paneling, acoustic spraying, texture coating, and pressure washing), and general maintenance/repair/replacement of various building components and fixtures. Interior work includes doors, cabinets, countertops, vanities, stairs, bannisters, floors, flooring treatments (e.g., tile, linoleum, carpet), household appliances (refrigerator, range top, oven, dishwasher, wall heater), plumbing fixtures (toilet, bathtub, shower enclosure, water heater, sink, faucet), lighting fixtures, electrical outlets, and switches. Exterior work includes fencing and gates, steps, stairs and bannisters, guardrails, piers and support beams, shingles, vents and flashing, skylights, and window glass and casements.
