California State Dept of Transportation (CalTrans) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Routine and Non-Routine Boiler Maintenance, Repairs, Testing, and Inspection Services, identified under Solicitation ID: 10A2876. Work is to be performed near 1727 30th St, Sacramento, CA 95816, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This project involves providing routine and non-routine boiler preventative maintenance, repairs, testing, reporting, and inspection services for Caltrans. The contractor will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, traffic control, travel, and incidentals across various Caltrans Maintenance Stations in Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, and Tuolumne Counties. Routine annual services include boiler cleanings, tune-ups, inspections, hydrostatic testing, relief valve testing, cleaning/replacing components, adjusting operational controls, lubricating motors, and submitting inspection results to the Department of General Services (DGS) Building Manager and Caltrans Contract Manager. Non-routine repairs are also required to keep equipment fully operational, with services to be completed within 24 hours of identification, using new, factory-manufactured or equivalent parts.
