General Project Description

This project involves providing comprehensive roof repair services for the Caltrans District 32 Equipment Shop in Mendocino County. The scope includes furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, parts, permits, travel, and incidentals. Key tasks include repairing roof leaks by replacing and caulking neoprene closures and reinstalling ridge caps; addressing water ponding issues by installing new roof sheeting at the ventilation stack penetration; cleaning gutters and flushing downspouts to ensure proper flow; reattaching approximately 392 feet of sagging or hanging rolled roofing insulation across 56 sections with additional fasteners and insulation tape; and replacing fire or water-damaged sections of rolled roofing insulation (33 partial 7-foot sections and 12 full 21-foot sections) to match existing conditions. All work must comply with applicable building codes and industry standards, and the contractor provides a five-year guarantee on workmanship and materials.
