General Project Description

This project involves construction on State Highway Routes 80, 580, and 880 in Alameda and Solano Counties, California. The primary objective is to install pumping plant and electrical equipment. The scope encompasses a range of activities, including lead and asbestos compliance, various traffic control measures (such as construction area signs, portable changeable message signs, and high-visibility fence), job site management, water pollution control, temporary drainage and construction entrances, street sweeping, and temporary concrete washout. Earthwork activities include roadway excavation and gravel mulch application. Structural work covers structural concrete for retaining walls, rock slope protection, minor concrete for gutters, bar reinforcing steel, and drill and bond dowels. The project also includes general building work, pumping plant equipment installation, pumping plant electrical equipment installation, and mobilization. A significant component involves setting up and integrating a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the pump plant operations.
