General Project Description

This project involves construction on State Highway Route 80 in Solano County, in and near Fairfield, at various locations. The general work description includes constructing Median Vegetation Plan (MVP) elements, access roads, installing trash nets, concrete ditch lining, and Midwest Guardrail System (MGS). The scope also encompasses extensive temporary traffic control, erosion control, stormwater pollution prevention, earthwork, roadway excavation, base aggregation, asphalt concrete paving, culvert installation and removal, sign work, and guardrail maintenance. The contractor must hold a Class A license or specific Class C licenses (C-8, C-12) covering the majority of the work.
