General Project Description

This project involves placing traffic stripes and pavement markings on State Highways in Butte, Glenn, Sacramento, Sutter, and Yolo Counties at various locations. The scope includes general provisions, bidding, control of work and materials, legal relations, prosecution and progress, and payment. Specific work items cover lead compliance, time-related overhead, construction area signs, traffic control systems, portable changeable message signs, automated flagger assistance devices, job site management, water pollution control, temporary check dams, temporary drainage inlet protection, handling treated wood waste, pavement markers, removal of roadside signs and panels, furnishing and installing single sheet aluminum signs, and various types of thermoplastic pavement markings and traffic stripes (enhanced wet night visibility), including removal by high-pressure water blasting. The project also addresses environmental stewardship, including treated wood waste management and environmental product declarations for certain materials.
