General Project Description
This Request for Proposals seeks qualified consulting firms for design, environmental analysis, and permitting services for the Santa Rosa Creek Streambank Stabilization Project. The project focuses on restoring and stabilizing an approximately 150-foot section of the western streambank of Santa Rosa Creek, which has experienced significant erosion. This stabilization is critical to protect the community's sewer trunkline infrastructure, the Santa Rosa Creek Trail, and to enhance instream habitat. The comprehensive scope of work includes project management, preparing a preliminary design report (including hydrological analysis), conducting various technical studies (biological resources, wetland delineation, hydrological evaluation, geotechnical evaluation), completing CEQA determination, and acquiring all necessary permits from agencies such as the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Regional Water Quality Control Board, CA Department of Fish and Wildlife, Caltrans, and the County of San Luis Obispo. The project also covers preparing final plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the stabilization.
