General Project Description

This project encompasses two main components: sewer improvements on Poinsettia Lane and sewer manhole rehabilitation in the Bressi area. For Poinsettia Lane (Schedule A), the work involves removing and replacing approximately 2,560 linear feet of existing 12-inch PVC sewer with new 15-inch and 18-inch PVC sewer mains, modifying and rehabilitating 10 existing sewer manholes, and associated incidental work such as surveying, utility potholing, groundwater dewatering (including permitting and support systems for deep excavations exceeding 20 feet), sewer bypass systems, storm and non-storm water pollution prevention, traffic control, earthwork, paving, and site restoration. For Bressi (Schedule B), the project entails rehabilitating 25 sewer manholes through epoxy-mortar lining, including the removal of existing T-Lock lining systems, interior surface preparation, concrete bench and channel replacement, manhole frame/cover/collar replacement and grade adjustment, groundwater infiltration proofing by injection grouting (including at the Poinsettia Lift Station flow meter vault), and traffic control.
