General Project Description

This project involves the installation of new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations at the State Street Parking Lot. The scope includes providing all necessary equipment, labor, materials, tools, services, transportation, and permits. Key work elements include installing city-supplied switchboards, transformers, panels, and EV chargers. The contractor is responsible for constructing foundations, installing electrical conductors and communication cables, and all associated electrical gear and appurtenances as specified in the plans. The project also entails parking lot improvements, including surface pavement restoration, new striping, general site preparation, trenching, backfilling, conduit installation, sub-base, base, footing, and anchors for the charging stations. Coordination with San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) for new electrical meter and utility transformer installation is also required.
