General Project Description

This project involves the installation of a new booster pump (Pump 3) within the existing Avenue 1 Pump Plant. The scope includes system modifications, booster pump systems, site piping, electrical components, controls, flowmeters, and associated infrastructure. Work items cover mobilization, civil demolition, piping, installation of owner-furnished vertical turbine pump and motor, installation of owner-furnished flow meter and converter, electrical demolition, medium voltage MCC modifications and testing, conduit and wire installation, miscellaneous electrical work (key switches, fittings, supports), instrumentation, calibration, I/O loop checks, and pump functional testing and commissioning. The primary objective is to upgrade existing Pump No. 3, which serves as a backup pump.
