General Project Description

This project, "HSIP 11A: 18 Unsignalized Intersection Upgrades," involves comprehensive improvements to multiple unsignalized intersections within Cathedral City. The scope includes furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility work, traffic control, and public services coordination. Key tasks involve clearing and grubbing, cold milling existing asphalt pavement, constructing Portland cement concrete pavement and new asphalt pavement, reconstructing curb ramps and constructing raised crosswalks. The project also requires the installation of flashing beacons (including Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons - RRFB), LED lighting systems (poles, foundations, pull boxes, and conduit), pavement striping and markings, traffic signage, fencing, and pavers. All work must conform to the Coachella Valley State Implementation Plan (CVSIP) for PM-10, including Best Management Practices.
