Cathedral City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, HSIP 11A: 18 Unsignalized Intersection Upgrade S, identified under Solicitation ID: B25-105E. Work is to be performed near Cathedral City, CA 92234, USA in Riverside County.
General Project Description
This project involves the upgrade of 18 unsignalized intersections within the City of Cathedral City. The work includes providing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility work, traffic control, and public services coordination. Key improvements consist of clearing and grubbing, cold milling of existing asphalt pavement, construction of Portland cement concrete pavement, construction of new asphalt pavement, reconstruction of curb ramps, and construction of raised crosswalks. Additionally, the project requires the installation of flashing beacons (including Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons/RRFB), LED lighting with associated poles, foundations, pull boxes, and conduits. Further work includes pavement striping and markings, traffic signage, fencing, and pavers. All work will conform to the Coachella Valley State Implementation Plan (CVSIP) for PM-10 and Best Management Practices.
