Center Joint Unified School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Adult Transitional Portable Improvements, identified under Solicitation ID: 26-01. Work is to be performed near 3243 Center Ct Ln, Antelope, CA 95843, USA in Sacramento County.
General Project Description
This project involves Adult Transitional Portable Improvements at McClellan High School, specifically the replacement of existing ramps and paving at the Adult Transitional Portable Classroom buildings. The work will include site demolition, earthwork (including trenching and backfilling), asphalt concrete paving, and site concrete work. A cash allowance of $60,000 for District Allowance is provided for work not precisely determined, to be used at the Owner’s discretion on a "time and material" basis.

- Quantity: - Unit: - Work Item: Site Demolition, including removal of pavements, structures, foundations, vegetation, trash, debris, existing fixtures, equipment, and conductors from abandoned electrical circuits. Specifications: Demolition to minimize disturbance, fill voids with specified fill.

Specifications: Use of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) with aggregate blend not exceeding 15%; plant mixed asphalt conforming to State Specifications, Section 39, Class A, ½” maximum, medium grading; 3/8" maximum grading for hardcourt; asphalt mix temperatures: Hot Mix Asphalt 275-325°F (aggregate), 250-325°F (asphalt added), 285-350°F (time of application); soil sterilizer (Esplanade 200 SC or equal); Class 2 aggregate base (¾” max.); liquid asphalt tack coat (CALTRANS section 94); surface course aggregate (Class "A" asphalt concrete, State Specifications 39-2.02, ½” maximum, medium gradient); seal coat ("Park-Top No. 302," "OverKote," or "Drivewalk" equivalent, 30 gals per 1000 sq. ft. in two coats); pavement marking (white, yellow, black Waterborne traffic line; blue, red, green Waterborne traffic line for accessibility symbols, complying with ASTM D 6628).

Specifications: Portland cement (ASTM C150, Type II); normal weight aggregates (ASTM C33); fly ash (ASTM C618 Class N or F, up to 15%); water reducing admixture (WRDA 64 or equal); air-entraining admixture (Daravair 1000 or equal); truncated domes (Vitrified Polymer Composite, cast-in-place, yellow, complying with ADA and CCR Title 24, Part 2, Chapter 11B, 2.35” dome spacing); curing compound (Burke Aqua Resin Cure or 1100 Clear by W.R. Meadows); concrete bonding agent (Weld-Crete or Daraweld C); patching mortar (Meadow-Crete GPS or equal); non-shrink grout (Masterflow 713 Plus or equal); Class 2 AB aggregate base; preformed 3/8" fiber expansion joint material; single component silicone sealant (Dow Corning 890-SL or 888-NS) for expansion joints; reinforcement placement (ACI 301-20, staggered lap splices with minimum 1½” clearance, mid-depth of slab); minimum 2’x2’ #5, 90-degree bars at concrete walk intersections for crack control; flatwork tolerance 1/8" in 10’; concrete placement temperature not exceeding 95°F.
