General Project Description

This Contract involves the modernization of one geared traction passenger elevator within the Solids Handling Building. The work includes furnishing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment for a complete and legal installation. The scope encompasses installing a new controller, door operator, signal fixtures, wiring, AC motor, rope brake, reconditioning the geared machine and deflector sheave, and integrating related electrical, fire life safety, and HVAC systems. Additionally, the project includes mobilization, demobilization, smoke detector and fire alarm integration, electrical and HVAC system installations, miscellaneous patching, restoration, refinishing, and repairs of impacted surfaces. A 12-month warranty preventive maintenance service is also required.
