General Project Description

This project involves the removal and replacement of existing flooring, wall base, and accessories at Bear Gulch Elementary School. The scope includes mandatory moisture testing of concrete substrate surfaces prior to new flooring installation (Homogeneous Vinyl Tile - HVT and Luxury Vinyl Tile - LVT) in accordance with manufacturer requirements. If moisture levels exceed warrantable limits, the contractor will be responsible for moisture mitigation. The project also includes installation of owner-furnished carpet tile and wall base materials, as well as contractor-furnished stair nose reducers. Initial maintenance for Creative Terrain II Homogenous Vinyl Tile Flooring is also required. An allowance is included for unforeseen conditions.
