Unofficial Notice of Invitation to Bid (NIB)

Central School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, 2026 SUMMER FLOORING PROJECT, identified under Solicitation ID: 26002. Work is to be performed near 7727 Valle Vista Dr, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730, USA in San Bernardino County.

General Project Description

This project entails the removal and replacement of flooring, wall base, and accessories at Valle Vista Elementary School. The scope includes demolition and disposal of existing materials in specific classrooms (K1, K2, 16, 21, and 23-28) and removal of any remaining vinyl wall base in other areas (classrooms 3-15 and 22 not part of the abatement scope). Essential tasks include conducting moisture testing on concrete substrates, potentially performing moisture mitigation using a dedicated allowance, and installing owner-furnished materials such as Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT), wall base, and carpet tile according to manufacturer instructions. The project requires coordination with an asbestos abatement contractor, who will handle the abatement in 14 classrooms (3-15 and 22) prior to flooring installation in those areas. The overall project is scheduled for 86 consecutive calendar days, with flooring work beginning June 2, 2026, and completing by July 17, 2026.
