General Project Description

This project involves the construction of a Heli-Hydrant system in the City of Chino Hills, California. The scope of work includes substantial site preparation such as mobilization, clearing and grubbing, grading, and unclassified excavation. It specifies the furnishing and installation of various water infrastructure components, including D.I. Tees with thrust blocks, 8-inch purple PVC C900 water main with trench restoration, 8-inch gate valves, D.I. horizontal bends with thrust blocks, and 8-inch master meter octave ultrasonic water meters. Additionally, the project includes the installation of 4-inch and 6-inch C900 PVC drain pipes, a 6-foot tall chain link fence with a 12-foot access gate, removal and reconstruction of V-ditches, and the complete furnishing and installation of a specialized Heli-Hydrant Assembly which encompasses its foundation, fabricated metal water tank, piping, valves, operating systems, illuminated windsock, and backup power systems.
