General Project Description

This project involves ADA sidewalk improvements citywide, specifically targeting the installation of missing segments of concrete sidewalk, concrete drive approaches, 6-inch concrete retaining curbs, mailbox reinstallation, and medium-sized tree removal along the south side of Sierra Avenue east of Willow Avenue. Key work activities include clearing and grubbing existing improvements, traffic control, dust control, concrete surface improvements (curbs, sidewalks, drive approaches), demolition, minor street improvements, coordination with utilities, relocation of existing facilities like irrigation laterals, spray heads, hardscapes, fencing, and mailboxes, and tree removal. The project aims to bring facilities into compliance with ADA standards and involves work subject to CDBG Federal requirements and prevailing wages.
