Clovis City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Reservoir 4 Tank Liner, identified under Solicitation ID: CIP 25-15. Work is to be performed near 1152 N Burl Ave, Clovis, CA 93611, USA in Fresno County.
General Project Description
The project, CIP 25-15 Reservoir 4 Tank Liner, involves the surface preparation, repairs, and application of protective coating to all internal and external surfaces of the 2.0 million gallon welded steel water storage reservoir (Tank No. 4) located at 1152 N. Burl Avenue, Clovis, CA 93611. This includes the complete removal and replacement of existing interior lining with an NSF ANSI Standard 61 certified immersion grade liner (organic zinc-rich primer followed by a three-coat epoxy system), and the design and installation of a new cathodic protection (CP) system. The scope also covers mechanical repairs to corroded surfaces, including weld repairs and replacement of steel components (tie rods, rafters, halo system), and potential optional tasks such as the use of dehumidification equipment. Work extends to all metal attachments, appurtenances, structural components, and patching/repainting of existing exterior shell damage, all to be performed in accordance with City of Clovis, Caltrans, and Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District (FMFCD) standards. Adjacent tank piping and lower chine areas are also included in exterior repairs.
